Call for submissions:

Milepost 5 Studios Artists’ Collective is accepting submissions from Portland artists for our upcoming show, “Anarchy and Chaos in 2023”. We will accept any and all forms of artistic expression. Whether it is visual arts, performing arts, or writing… we’d like to see what Anarchy and Chaos means to in your life. All submissions will be juried by resident artists and a special local guest artist (to be announced). Submissions will be accepted
virtually or in person.

Resident Artists Meet and Greet/Open Mic Night 3/31- 7pm – Until we run out of performers Donation of $5 or more encouraged. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

As many in the community know, keeping the arts and this intentional artist shared living dream at Milepost 5 alive has been quite the challenge. We have only gotten as far as we have because of the generosity of neighborhood folks who share our vision and still have hope of it working. To that end, the MP5 Studios Artists’ Collective is holding a fundraising event on 3/31. Come have some snacks, and beverages, and meet some of
our resident artists. (You may even get a sneak peek of a work in progress when you pass through our current working space.). But worry not, we will be entertaining you as well. We are showcasing some of the performance artists who reside here. We hope a few of you will have the courage to step up and show us what you got as well. All of the proceeds from the event will go directly to producing our April art show Anarchy and
Chaos in 2023.
